MACKINAC COUNTY, Mich. (WLUC) – A suspect is in custody following a stabbing in Moran Township on Friday.
On Friday in Moran Township, Michigan State Police responded to a report that said one 18-year-old man stabbed another 18-year-old man after a “verbal altercation”, according to a Friday evening press release from the MSP.
The victim was treated at Mackinac Straits Health System before he was transferred to McLaren Northern Michigan Hospital in Petoskey for additional treatment.
After an investigation, MSP arrested the 18-year-old suspect for attempted murder. He was lodged in the Mackinac County Jail. The release says his identity will be released after he is arraigned.
