Adeline Mary Lewis

Adeline Mary Lewis, 93, a longtime resident of Sault Ste. Marie died Sunday November 13, 2022 at McKinley Manor Assisted Living in Sault Ste. Marie, MI.

She was born November 4, 1929 in Sault Ste. Marie, MI to Abdalle and Salimey (Ayouh) Jabour.
Adeline graduated from Loretto High School in her hometown in 1947. She was a homemaker and was married to her husband dale for 67 years. Adeline had many friends and spent a lot of time taking care of her family although she had a part time job working at the Kincheloe Air Force Base as a secretary in housing referral for seven years until the closing of the base. Adeline enjoyed cooking and spending time with family and will be missed by all.

Adeline is survived by her husband, Dale Lewis; daughter, Mary Kallio (Lewis); sons, James Lewis and Michael Lewis; brother, James Jabour; grandchildren, Nickolas Lewis, Holly (Kyle) Fahler (Lewis), Ryan (Jordyn) Lewis, Dustin (Gryson) Lewis, Darren Kallio, Amber Kallio, Kristine Kallio, and Rachel Kallio; great grandchildren, Avelyn Kallio, Dylan Menard, Jayce Goforth, Domarion Kallio, Kamiyah Kallio (Smith), Pepper Fahler, Rylee Fahler, Wendy, and Robert Lewis. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren brought great joy into her later years. Adeline is predeceased by her parents; brother, Edward Jabour; and daughter, Patricia Ann Lewis.

A memorial service will be held in the summer of 2023 and will be announced at a later date. Clark Hovie Galer Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
