Neoma Marguerite Krzykowski

Neoma “Nicki” Marguerite Krzykowski, age 86, of St. Ignace, Michigan, died at McLaren Northern Michigan Hospital in Petoskey, Michigan, on October 3, 2022, and is now in the arms of her late husband. She was born in Detroit, Michigan, on August 3, 1936, to Raymond L. and Marguerite (Smith) Almas.

Nicki grew up in Detroit in a family of seven children. She married the love of her life, Thaddeus “Ted” Krzykowski, on September 30, 1961. She began working for Ford Motor Company as a secretary and retired after twenty-two years. In 1972, they bought a home in St. Ignace where they summered for many years and wintered in Mesa, Arizona.

Nicki was a member of the St Anne’s Catholic Church, the altar society, and an active choir member.

Nicki was an adventurous person. She would always be on the go, traveling the world. She would socialize with anyone who met her and loved having lunches with her girlfriends in St. Ignace. She enjoyed golfing and playing bridge, winning a plaque in a tournament on Mackinac Island.

Nicki is survived by her sister, Mary Eileen Almas; and brother, Gerald “Jerry” (Diane) Almas.

Nicki is preceded in death by her husband, Thaddeus “Ted” Krzykowski; parents, Raymond and Marguerite Almas; sister, Patricia; and brothers, Michael, Raymond, and Ronald.

No services will be held.

Final resting place will be at St. Ignatius Catholic Cemetery in St. Ignace, Michigan.
