Patricia “Patti” Rae (Chartier) Landis, age 66, of Manistique, Michigan, passed away, surrounded by family, at Medilodge of Sault Ste. Marie on October 30, 2021 after years of battling cancer. She was born March 28, 1955, in Manistique, Michigan to Joseph George and Genevieve Phyllis (Hill) Chartier.
Patti spent most of her life in Manistique. She was a member and active volunteer of the Elks Lodge. She enjoyed walking and watching the Green Bay Packers.
Patti is survived by her mother, Genevieve of Manistique; daughter, Christina (Gary) Knutsen of Dafter, Michigan; son, Robert (Jackie) Landis of Sault Ste. Marie; grandchildren, Mackenzie, Robbie, and Lexie; and longtime partner, Andy Holub of Garden, Michigan.
Patti was preceded in death by her father, Joseph; sisters, Carla and Connie; and husband, Allan Landis.
An Elks Lodge funeral service will be held in Manistique on December 4th. Patti will be laid to rest at Fairview Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Manistique Elks Lodge. These funds will be used to obtain matching grants to foster community projects that Patti supported.
