SAULT STE MARIE MI – Troopers from the Sault Ste Marie Post were called to the scene of a residential structure fire on 10 Mile Rd in Chippewa County on May 31.
Upon arrival, troopers found a camper trailer fully engulfed in flames. Multiple individuals in the area were contacted, including the suspect, 45-year-old Angela Dawn Clement, from the area.
After further investigation, Clement was arrested and charged with 2nd Degree Arson. She was lodged at the Chippewa County Jail. Clement was arraigned in 91st District Court on June 1.
The residence was a total loss.
