GAYLORD, Mich. – The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will invest nearly $4.3 million to resurface 8.5 miles of I-75 from north of Wolverine to M-68 at Indian River in Cheboygan County.
Work is scheduled to begin September 9 and be completed by November 6, 2026
This work will require single-lane closures with traffic shifts.Based on economic modeling, this investment is expected to directly and indirectly support 36 jobs.
This work will extend the service life of this pavement and will include new pavement markings and rumble strips.
