Sault High Hall of Fame Spotlight – Tracy McDonald Holt

Our Hall of Fame weekend is right around the corner, and we are thrilled to begin highlighting this year’s incredible inductees!

From local healthcare leadership to youth advocacy, Tracy McDonald Holt has dedicated her career to serving the Eastern Upper Peninsula.

Her tireless work and community impact make her a true standout in the Sault Schools Distinguished Alumni Hall of Fame:

Healthcare & Hospice Leadership: Executive Director of Hospice of EUP since 2003, spearheading the fundraising and build of the Ball Hospice House (serving over 300 patients since 2013). Former CEO of Superior Health Support Systems (2006–2025), where she helped build the Pennington, White-Wiles, Harbor View, and Merlin assisted living homes.

Youth & Family Advocacy: Founded the Chippewa County Family Project (CCFP) in 2016, currently serving as President and overseeing the Arfstrom-Faunt Teen Foster Home. Managed fundraising for Project Playground and coached youth basketball and high school volleyball.

Community Leadership & Service: Served on the Sault Area Board of Education (2011–2019), active with the National Volunteer Caregiving Network, long-time Rotarian, and currently manages a $150K grant to triple volunteer caregivers for Michigan seniors.
