While high school sports around the Eastern Upper Peninsula and the state of Michigan are in a pause, there is still much to talk about and cover, and we will do that tonight on “The Game”. You can hear the show live on ESPN 1400, Monday night’s from 6-8 p.m.

Special guests on the show tonight include Rudyard volleyball head coach Amanda Reid, who will discuss the tremendous success of her squad this season, as they await their Division 4 quarterfinal matchup against Carney-Nadeau. We will also talk to Sault High girls basketball coach Pat Bennin, as the Blue Devils await the start of their season.

There are local sports to cover, including the Lake Superior State University hockey team, who had a sweep over the weekend of Adrian College, and the NOJHL, as the Soo Thunderbirds and Blind River Beavers played a pair of games.

Butch Davis, from “Butch On Sports” will be on the show tonight, as he will discuss the Detroit Lions firing of head coach Matt Patricia, and general manager Bob Quinn, along with the Pistons heading into their preseason, Michigan and Michigan State football over the weekend and more.
