GRAND TRAVERSE COUNTY, MI: On June 25, 2026, detectives from the Traverse Narcotics Team
(TNT) concluded an investigation in Grand Traverse County that resulted in the arrest of an individual
allegedly supplying methamphetamine, cocaine, fentanyl, and crack cocaine in northern Michigan.
With assistance from the Michigan State Police (MSP) Traverse City Post and the Grand Traverse County
Sheriff’s Office, TNT detectives arrested Nicquon Branch Jr., 32, of Muskegon. During the investigation
into Nicquon Branch, Jr., TNT detectives seized approximately 1.2 pounds of suspected
methamphetamine, 15.5 grams of fentanyl, 12.5 grams of crack cocaine, 15 grams of cocaine, and a .40
caliber pistol.
On June 29, Branch was arraigned in the 86th District Court in Grand Traverse County on the following
charges:
- Three counts: Controlled Substance – Delivery/Manufacture Cocaine, Heroin or other narcotics
- One count: Controlled Substance – Delivery/Manufacture Methamphetamine
- One count: Weapons – Felony Firearm
Branch was given a $25,000 cash or surety bond. His next court appearance is scheduled for July 17 at
11:00 a.m.
