In relation to an article post earlier on EUP News.com regarding a homicide and officer involved shooting being related, the Michigan State Police have provided an update to the case.
The passenger taken into custody on January 2 has been identified as 42-year-old Stephanie
Ferrante of Kentucky.
She was arraigned on January 5 in the 84th District Court in Wexford County on one count of
Lying to a Peace Officer – Violent Crime Investigation and Habitual Offender Fourth Offence
Notice. Ferrante was given a $250,000 cash or surety bond. Her next court appearance is
scheduled for January 13 at 10:30 a.m.
