ST. IGNACE, Mich. –Due to ongoing work on the northbound I-75 overpass at Cheeseman Road in the city of St. Ignace, Mackinac County, Cheeseman Road will be temporarily closed to traffic starting Wednesday, July 16. Traffic will be detoured to US-2. One lane will remain open in each direction on I-75.
Cheeseman Road is expected to reopen to traffic with a temporary traffic signal by Sunday, July 20.
The closure is required for the safety of motorists during replacement of overhead bridge beams.
