Robert Lewis

Robert Arthur “Bob” Lewis, age 64, passed away on Friday, July 22, 2022, at his home in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan.

Bob was born on January 26, 1958, to Elgin and Katherine (Cusenza) Lewis in Flint, MI. He graduated with the St. Louis, Michigan Class of 1976. Bob spent 30 of his working years as an Engineer for the Railroad, retiring in 2010. He enjoyed photography, motorcycles, and had a special love for animals, which included dogs, chickens, ducks, and wildlife.

Bob is survived by his children: Jake (Vicki) Lewis of Dafter, MI, and Shannon (Bob Atkinson) Lewis of Maple City, MI; and his grandchildren: Jacob Lewis, Caleb Lewis, and Claire Atkinson. Also surviving Bob is his brother, Ken (Debbie) Lewis of Flint, MI; and his sisters: Linda (Ralph) Reeves of Plymouth, MI, Pat Montney of Otter Lake, MI, and Sandi Lewis of Ludington, MI.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother: Don Lewis.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, July 27,2022, at C.S. Mulder Funeral Home, with Father Brad Sjoquist officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 12:00 PM until the time of the service.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be left to the Chippewa County Animal Shelter.
