Kathy Mae Deuman

Kathy Mae Deuman, age 72, of Brimley, MI passed away on Wednesday, July 27, 2022.

Kathy was born on September 3, 1949, in Sault Ste. Marie, MI to the late James Patrick and Frances Laverne (Forrest) Donnelly.

Kathy was a graduate of Sault High School, with the class of 1967. She was a member of St. Francis Xavier Church in Brimley, MI where she was a very active member and served on many committees including the Parish Council. 

Kathy enjoyed her flower gardens, baking, traveling, watching Michigan football, and being with her grandchildren.

Kathy is survived by her husband: Robert J. Deuman whom she married on June 21, 1969. children: Angela (Gary) Gorsuch of Sault Ste. Marie, MI, and Jennifer (Andrew) Higley of Ludington, MI; grandchildren: Gabrielle, Garrett, Grace, and Ryan. Kathy is also survived by her siblings: Teri (Don) Locke, Patti (John) Manning, Mike Donnelly, and Jack (Marcia) Donnelly.

Kathy was preceded in death by her parents and grandson Connor Gorsuch.

Memorial services will be held at 11:30AM on Monday August 1, 2022, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church with Father Timothy W. Hruska as Celebrant.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be left to Mackinac Straits Health Foundation and the No Patient Left Behind fund, or the Connor Gorsuch Fishing Day.
