Kathy Jo Roe

Kathy Jo Roe, age 62, of Brimley, MI passed away on Sunday, July 17, 2022, at McLaren Northern Michigan Hospital.

Kathy was born on February 13, 1960, in Sault Ste. Marie, MI to the late Wayne Quigley and Gloria (Eugene) Hizer.  Kathy attended Sault High School. She enjoyed camping, fishing on the boat, her flower gardens, feeding the birds, watching the deer, playing with her cats and reading.

 Kathy is survived by her husband: Richard whom she married in the Sault on March 23, 2002. Kathy is also survived by her siblings: Donald (Camille) Quigley and Teri (Scott) Marchetti; nieces and nephews: Justin (Corin) Nolan, Jessi (James Bushey) Quigley, Levi Marchetti and Brandi Marchetti: great nephews: Joshua Green, Collin Nolan and Liam Nolan: in- laws: Marcia (Terry) Carley, Gary (Denise) Roe, and Barry Roe; nieces and nephews: Steve Carley, David Carley and Tenley Roe.

 Kathy was preceded in death by her parents and brother: Michael Joseph Quigley and grandparents: Joseph and Catherine (Carriere) Quigley and Vilho and Elma (Hietikko) Huhtala.

 A memorial service will be held at 12:00 noon, on Thursday July 21, 2022, in the Chapel at Oaklawn Chapel Gardens. Friends may gather at 11:00 AM. until the time of service, with burial to follow.  In lieu of flowers memorial may be left to Chippewa County Animals Shelter.
