Sharon Lorraine Hammonds

Sharon Lorraine Hammonds, age 63, of Kincheloe, Michigan, passed away on Sunday, February 13, 2022, at Hospice of the EUP.  

Sharon was born on October 3, 1958, to Roylee and Irene (Vincent) Hammonds in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan.  Sharon loved to cook, spend time with her family, and always made the most of every day, leaving loving imprints everywhere she went.  

Sharon is survived by her daughter, Tammy Hammonds of San Angelo, TX; her grandchildren:  Kimberly Munoz of San Angelo, TX, and Jesse (Kayla) Hammonds of Sault Ste. Marie, MI; her great-grandchildren:  JJ Hammonds of Sault Ste. Marie, MI, and Neveah Brown of Kincheloe, MI.  Sharon is also survived by her siblings:  Roylee (Bonnie Hart) Hammonds, Bobby (Linda) Hammonds, Lee Lowrimore, and Kim (Jim) Gravelle, all of Sault Ste. Marie, MI.  Sharon also survived by extended family:  brothers: Dennis Hammonds, Jimmy Lee Yearick, and sister: Karen (Gonzales) Hammonds.  Sharon had a very special bond with her great-grandchildren, her grandson Jesse, as well as special friends of many years Dianne Bass from San Angelo, Texas along with Ray Mcleod, Mary Rawlings of Kincheloe, Michigan and Brandy Hohmann of Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan and had a special bond with her nieces and nephews. 

Sharon was preceded in death by her father: Roylee Hammonds, Sr.; her mother: Irene Hammonds; her stepfather: Chuck Bennett; a sister: Linda Hammonds; two brothers: Steve and Keith Hammonds; and a grandson: Ricky Munoz.

A celebration of life will be held later this spring.
