Beverly Jean Siegwart (Hill), 79, of Marquette, MI, passed away peacefully at home in the presence of her family Wednesday morning February 2, 2022. She was born March 15, 1942 in Sault Ste. Marie, MI, the daughter of John H. Hill and Pauline Hill (Sims).
Beverly moved to the Marquette area in 1960. She was a member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church of Marquette. She worked in the laundry at Marquette General Hospital for 34 years until retiring in 2003. She loved her Red Wings hockey and spending the days with her dog Candi. Beverly loved to bake and shared her bounty with her community neighbors. She was considered the matriarch of Silver Creek Estates where she helped many neighbors and was well loved and respected by all.
Beverly is survived by her brother, John W. (Dorothy) Hill of Wenonah, PA; son, Timothy Hill of Sault Ste. Marie, MI; daughter, Mary Ellen Hyttinen (Jason) of Atlantic Mine, MI; seven grandchildren, Damon Anderson and Page Houghton of Sault Ste. Marie, MI, Tadd Hill of Delaware, OH, Mystique Isrow of Brimley, MI, Randy Miller, Jr. of Houghton, MI, Robyn Miller of Atlantic Mine, MI, and Travis Peterson of Dodgeville, MI, fourteen great grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Beverly was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Siegwart in 1993; daughter, Tammy in 1961; and parents John H. Hill in 1993 and Pauline Hill in 1999.
Per Beverly’s wishes there will be no funeral services. Final resting place is with her parents in Donaldson Cemetery. Clark Hovie Galer Funeral Home of Sault Ste. Marie, MI assisted the family with arrangements.
