Twyla Marie Bellanger, age 84, of Sugar Island, Michigan passed away at War Memorial Hospital on Thursday, December 2, 2021.Twyla was born on January 29, 1937, in Pickford, Michigan to the late Ross and Hazel (Brown) Clow. She was a graduate of Sault High School.
On May 25, 1957, Twyla married Quinten Bellanger in Sault Ste. Marie. She worked for many years at the Soo Red Owl. Twyla loved camping, traveling, and going to Florida to enjoy Disney.
Twyla is survived by her daughter: Tracy Bellanger of Sault Ste. Marie, MI; 3 grandchildren: Nash Bosbous, Dustin (Michelle) Bellanger, and Cameron Bellanger; 3 great-grandchildren: Austin, Carson, and Colton; and many nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly.
Twyla was preceded in death by her parents, her husband: Quinten Bellanger; her son: Bradley Bellanger, and 4 sisters: Bertha (Clifford) McConkey, Eva (Collin) McLeod, Phyllis (Keith) Webb, and Betty (Lloyd) Wilson; and 3 brothers: Earl (Maxine) Clow, Robert (Joanne) Clow, and Howard Clow.
A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, December 11, 2021, at C.S. Mulder Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Habusta officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2:00 PM until the time of the service. Burial will be held in the spring at Oaklawn Chapel Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be left to Twyla’s family.
