Clyde Raymond Young, 90, of Sault Ste. Marie, MI passed away on Saturday December 4, 2021 at Hospice House of the EUP in Sault Ste. Marie, MI. He was born October 6, 1931 in Sault Ste. Marie, MI to Fred and Grace (Hartman) Young.
Clyde was the Commander and District Commander of the VFW and Board of Trustee.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years Doris Jean (Roth) Young; son, Jerry Raymond Young; daughter, JoAnn Marie Holz; sisters, Dorthey and Lavonia; brothers, Vic, Laverne, and Don; five grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Clyde is predeceased by his parents; son, John Arlie Young; sisters, Ruby, Shirley, Charlotte, and Linda; and brothers, Fred and Stanley.
His final resting place will be Oaklawn Chapel Gardens.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made in Clyde’s name to the VFW Post 3676, 401 W Portage Ave, Sault Ste. Marie, MI 49783. Clark Hovie Galer Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
