Elta Mae Elliott, 83, passed away at Evergreen Assisted Living in St. Ignace, MI on November 4, 2021. Elta was born on May 24, 1938, in Mackinaw City, MI to the late Grover and Bernice (Forgette) Plaunt.
In 1956, she married William G. Elliott in Sault Ste. Marie. She loved being a homemaker, spending time with her children and watching them play hockey.
Elta is survived by two sons: Keith (Mary) Elliott of Sault Ste. Marie, MI and Charles Elliott of Milwaukee, WI; 8 grandchildren: Stacey, Mandy, Kelly, Connor, Brendan, Aubrey, DJ, and Chris; and many great-grandchildren.
She is also survived by a sister: Sharal Fitzgerald of Petosky, MI; a brother: Joseph (Jan) Plaunt of Cedarville, MI; and a special friend: Gerald Kamysek.
Elta was preceded in death by her parents, two children: William G. Elliott II and Sharal Williams; a sister: Alice Alcorn; and a brother: Paul Kreft II.
Cremation has already taken place; no public service will be held at this time.
