Edith Ruth Cameron (Winnett), 67, of Bay Mills, Michigan passed away unexpectedly at her home on October 27, 2021. She was born August 13, 1954, in Sparta, Tennessee.
Before moving to Bay Mills with her family, Edith lived most of her life in Flint, Michigan where she met and married her husband of 49 years. Edith loved celebrating every birthday and holiday with her family and attending bingo every week with the perfect assortment of lucky charms and dobbers. She enjoyed reading a large collection of books – she could never pass up a romance novel.
Edith is survived by her husband Darryl Cameron, Sr; sons, Darryl, Jr. (Shauna), David, Dean (Alesha), Donald (Clarissa); daughter, Betty (Simon); sisters, Martha (Paul) Foor, Mary Winnett, and Chasie Foor; brother, Jimmy (Heather) Winnett; sister-in-law, Dawn Winnett; grandchildren, Darryl, Raymond, Hayden, Ethan, Chelsey, Malikahi, Savannah, Summer, Lyddia, Cameron, Leila, Drake, Dextyn, Kyra, Neveah, and RuthAnn; great grandchildren, Blake, Adria, Susie, and Isaac.
Edith was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Betty Winnett; son, Dennis Cameron; brother, Timmy Winnett; and parents-in-law, Harold and Marie Cameron.
Visitation for Edith will be Wednesday November 3, 2021 from 10:00am until the time of the Funeral Service at 12:00pm at the Bay Mills Cultural Building. Final resting place will be Mission Hill Cemetery in Bay Mills, Michigan.
