UPDATE: Active search on for missing 4-year-old autistic child in Mackinac County

UPDATE – The Mackinac County Sheriff is reporting that little Madison Yale has been found alive and safe and is eating cookies with the rescuers. Thank you to all the volunteers that assisted with the search for Madison and all the readers who offered up prayers for her safe return!


ORIGINAL STORY – Mackinac County Sheriff’s Office is currently looking for a missing autistic 4 year old girl in the area of Krause Rd and Werner in Garfield Twp in Engadine.

Madison Yale is 4 years old, 3′ 6″ tall, weighs 42 pounds, has blonde hair and blue eye. She was last seen playing in her front yard early last evening and is believed to have wandered into the woods. She is presumed to be lost in the woods. She was wearing a pink shirt, blue dress and no shoes. Madison is autistic and non-verbal and will not respond by her name.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Madison Yale is asked to call the Mackinac County Sheriff’s Office Central Dispatch at 906-495-3312 or call 9-1-1

The search continued through the night with additional volunteer search parties being planned for the morning. If you are interested in joining the search please report to the command enter on Krause Rd and sign in and get instructions from authorities. DO NOT SEARCH ON YOUR OWN.
