Willis Wiser

On December 12, 2020, Willis Arden Wiser, 93, of Raco, Michigan comfortably and peacefully went to be with the Lord while surrounded by his family in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan. Willis was born August 23, 1927 to Abe and Grace (Streeter) Wiser.

Willis grew up in Raco, Michigan with his six siblings. He went on to graduate from Brimley High School. After graduation, he joined the United States Army in 1950, where he was an engineer for portable bridge building. After his years of service, he was honorably discharged. Willis then went on to meet his wife, Marsha Tinsley. They were married and raised five sons. Willis worked for the Corp of Engineers at the Sault Locks and retired in 1986.

Throughout his years, Willis spent his time doing things he loved and spending time with his family. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, loved walking, running, and riding in the woods and spending time in nature. Willis was the biggest Brimley fan and an, all around sports enthusiast. His best trait was story telling. HE WILL BE MISSED!

Willis is survived by his sons, Victor (Julie) Wiser, Ken (Becky) Wiser, Matt (Shelia) Wiser, and Timothy (Christine) Wiser; multiple grandchildren, great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.

Willis is preceded in death by his parents, Abe and Grace Wiser; wife, Marsha Tinsley-Wiser; brothers, Russell and Harold Wiser; sisters, Wilma, Lola, and Shirley; and son Eric Wiser.
