Paul Flynn

Paul Francis Flynn, 81, of Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan, passed away Sunday December 13, 2020 at his home. He was born September 30, 1939 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada to Vincent and Elizabeth (Doyle) Flynn.

Paul was an avid reader, loved sports, and enjoyed his daily walks. One of his favorite sayings was “may he rest in peace and rise again.”

Paul is survived by his wife, Anita (Mayer) Flynn of Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan; son, Michael Shane Paul (Julie) of Bay City, Michigan; sisters, Mary Flynn and Carol Ann Bray both of Toronto, Canada; grandchildren, Josh Maxwell, Grant Flynn, Gabriel Flynn, and Graden Flynn.

Paul is preceded in death by his parents, Vincent and Elizabeth (Doyle) Flynn; his first wife, Sharon (Mullen) Flynn; brother, Father Don Flynn, S.J.; daughters, Michelle Laura Flynn and Kathleen Elizabeth Flynn.

Visitation for Paul will be Wednesday December 16, 2020 from 9:00am until 12:00pm at St. Mary’s ProCathedral in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan. Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday December 16, 2020 at 12:00pm at St. Mary’s Pro Cathedral with Father Nicholas Thompson officiating. Burial will be at North Rudyard Cemetery in the spring of 2021.
