Michigan man arrested after breaking and entering at Upper Peninsula Moose lodge

ST. IGNACE TOWNSHIP, MI – Police have arrested a 54-year-old St. Ignace man accused of breaking into a Loyal Order of Moose lodge in the Upper Peninsula.

Troopers from the Michigan State Police St. Ignace Post responded to a breaking and entering complaint at a lodge in St. Ignace Township on Wednesday.

Troopers identified a suspect after a shirt investigation and later located him near the lodge. Police also found items suspected of being stolen from the scene.

The man was arrested and lodged in the Mackinac County Jail pending arraignment. The Michigan State Police was assisted at the scene by the Mackinac County Sherriff Department.
