SAULT STE. MARIE – The fifth annual Hockey for Heroes Tournament runs March 13-14 at Pullar Stadium and benefits Veterans at Hospice of the EUP, including a Special Veteran Fund.
The Corps of Engineers, M&C Water, U.S. Coast Guard, National Guard, Sault Printing and Michigan Department of Corrections are among the six teams competing. Games begin at 6 p.m. Friday and 1 p.m. Saturday. A family skate is slated for 4 p.m., and the championship game is scheduled for 8 p.m.

During the past four years, this tournament has raised more than $32,000 for local veterans in hospice care. M&C Water won the impressive Veterans Cup in 2018 and ’19.
