Obituaries

Lynda Louise Eby, age 66, of St. Ignace, Michigan, died on Sunday, September 27, 2026, at home. She was born on March 2, 1960, to John and Arlene (Oswald) Eby.

Lynda is survived by her sister, Ruth Eby Paquin; brother, Mark (Margaret) Eby; sister-in-law, Teresa (David) Eby, nieces and nephews, James Paquin, Samantha Fenlon, Christopher (Tara) Paquin, Jaclyn (Jason) Southwell, John Eby, Hannah Eby, Adam Eby, Kate Eby, and Sara Eby; many great nieces and nephews; as well as her precious cat, Mittens.

Lynda was an active and faithful member of her church, where she formed many meaningful friendships and cherished connections. She will also be remembered fondly by her friends and neighbors.

Even though Lynda had faced many years of declining health with strength and perseverance, it did not stop her from living her life to the fullest.

Lynda was an animal lover and pet caregiver for many animals over the years. She was also very talented with her many hobbies including flower arranging and scrapbooking.

She was preceded in death by her father, John W. “Jack” Eby, in 1983; mother, Arlene Eby, in 2023; and brother, David Eby, in 2023.

A Memorial Service will be planned at a later date.
