OTSEGO COUNTY, MI. On August 10, at approximately 8:07 a.m., troopers from the Michigan State
Police (MSP) Gaylord Post responded to a traffic crash on Milbocker near the Badger Parkway in Bagley
Township.
The preliminary investigation indicates that a vehicle driven by a 68-year-old Mancelona man was
traveling east on Milbocker when the vehicle began to swerve, drifted off the roadway, and struck a tree.
The man was unconscious when troopers arrived. They provided life-saving measures, and the driver
was transported to a local hospital, where he later passed away.
Based on the initial investigation, it is believed that the man experienced a medical episode while driving,
which led to the crash.
This incident remains under investigation.
