NEWBERRY, Mich. – The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) is investing about $1.3 million to resurface M-123 in Newberry. The project will include cold milling, resurfacing, guardrail improvements and pavement markings.
Drivers should expect single-lane closures with traffic regulators. An 11-foot width restriction will be in place during the project.
Based on economic modeling, this investment is expected to directly and indirectly support 11 jobs. The project is expected to be completed by Friday, Sept. 25, 2026
