Wolverine Man Arrested for Aggravated Possession of Child Sexually Abusive Material

CHEBOYGAN, MI. The Michigan State Police (MSP) Computer Crimes Unit, Internet Crimes Against
Children (ICAC) Task Force has arrested Caleb John Bishop, 25, of Wolverine, for aggravated possession
of child sexually abusive material, possession of child sexually abusive material, and using a computer to
commit a crime.

Bishop was arrested following an investigation in which digital evidence was seized. The investigation was initiated when it was discovered Bishop was viewing child sexually abusive material on the internet.
Bishop was charged with one count of Aggravated Possession of Child Sexually Abusive Material, one
count of Possession of Child Sexually Abusive Material, and two counts of Using a Computer to Commit a Crime. Bishop was arraigned in the 89 th Judicial District Court on Thursday, November 20. His next court appearance is scheduled for December 11 at 8:30 a.m.
