Delta County, Michigan. On November 17, 2025, at approximately 3:55 p.m., troopers from the
Michigan State Police (MSP) Gladstone Post responded to a fatal traffic crash in Masonville
Township.
The preliminary investigation revealed that a commercial delivery truck had stopped at the
intersection of 24th Road and Co 511 W.5 Road and then attempted to proceed through the
intersection to continue eastbound on 24th Road. As the delivery truck entered the intersection,
a crash occurred with a pickup truck which had been traveling southbound on Co 511 W.5
Road.
The driver of the southbound vehicle, a 51-year-old man from Munising, sustained fatal injuries
from the crash. The driver of the delivery vehicle, a 29-year-old man from Seney, sustained
minor injuries and was treated at OSF St. Francis Hospital in Escanaba. There were no other
passengers in either vehicle. The investigation remains ongoing.

MSP was assisted by the Delta County Sheriff’s Office, Ensign and Masonville Township Fire Departments, Rampart EMS, and Pro Towing.
