SAULT STE. MARIE, Mich. – The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) has cancelled maintenance work on the I-75 Business Spur bridge over I-75 in Sault Ste. Marie previously set for next week.
Bridge deck overlay work had been scheduled to start Monday, Aug. 25. This project will be rescheduled at a later date.

SAULT STE. MARIE, Mich. – The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will be performing maintenance work on the I-75 Business Spur (BS) bridge over I-75 in Sault Ste. Marie, requiring traffic signal changes on the bridge beginning Monday, Aug. 25.
Bridge deck overlay work will be performed from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. each night. The work is expected to be completed by Wednesday morning, Aug. 27, but may extend to Thursday, Aug. 28, depending on the weather.
Motorists should expect one lane of alternating traffic open on I-75 BS with temporary traffic signals. The existing ramp signals will be placed in flash mode.
This project will help ensure continued safe and reliable operation of the roadway.
