Alger County, Michigan. The Michigan State Police (MSP) Negaunee Post is requesting the
public’s help in locating a juvenile who is considered voluntarily missing.
15-year-old Jayden Whittenburg had reportedly snuck out of his foster residence on Pohjala
Road in Rock River Township during the early morning hours on June 30, 2025. He is believed
to be trying to get to a home on Marquette Street in Ishpeming but has not been located yet.
Jayden is a black male, about 5’09” and weighing approximately 160lbs. He has black hair and
brown eyes, medium/dark skin complexion. Jayden currently has an afro style haircut, medium
length. There is no known clothing description for Jayden currently.
He may be possibly accompanied by an Irish Wolfhound dog. At this time, there are no known
physical dangers to the juvenile or risks to the public, and no indication of foul play. However,
the MSP is working to locate him and verify his wellbeing.
