Suspicious Death Investigation in Gaylord

On February 26, 2025, at approximately 7:45 a.m. troopers from the Gaylord Post, deputies from the Otsego County Sheriff’s Office, and members of Otsego County Fire and EMS were dispatched to an address on Murner Road, regarding an adult male who was found deceased in his driveway, by a passing motorist.

Upon arriving on scene, an adult female was located, deceased, outside of the residence as well.  Two children were located inside the residence and were transported to the hospital for evaluation.  Both deceased subjects have been sent for autopsy and a cause of death is not known at this time. 

The investigation indicates this is isolated to that residence and there is no risk to the public.
