Donna J. Clarke

Donna J. Clarke, age 92, of Sault Ste. Marie, MI passed away on November 15, 2022, at My Michigan Health Center – Sault.

Donna was born in Sault Ste. Marie on October 13, 1930, the daughter of the late John and Carolin (Scott) Warick.  She graduated from Sault High School with the class of 1948.  On December 26, 1953, Donna married Gordon “Bud” Clarke at the First Church of Christ.

Donna enjoyed knitting, gardening, and watching the Detroit Red Wings.  She loved to spoil her children and grandchildren.  Donna was proud of the fact that she lived her entire life in the house that she was born in.

Donna is survived by her son: David Clarke of Sault Ste. Marie; her daughter: Lori (Paul Wilson) Clarke of Sault Ste. Marie; her daughter-in-law: Anne Clarke of Sault Ste. Marie; 3 grandchildren: Melisa (Erik) Manninen, Chelsea (Justin) Derusha, and David Clarke; and 7 great-grandchildren: Wesley, Donna, Gordon, Henry, Riley, Finley, and Kirie.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two brothers: Jack and David Warick; and two sisters: Lois Myers and Chloris Hubbard.

A private family service has been held.  Burial will be at Pine Grove Cemetery in the spring.
