David David grew up in Frederick, Michigan, and spent much of his youth with his grandparents. At the age of 17, he enlisted with the US army where he served the next three years while stationed in Korea. After returning, he met the love of his life, Ruth Ann Sanders, during a chance meeting and the two hit it off. They married on July 10, 1970, and moved to Mio, Michigan to start their family while managing a Resort. They had two beautiful daughters, Lisa and Kim. David and his family moved to Attica after he got a job with Ford Tractor Company where they lived for the next nine years before they moved to Indian River, Michigan, where David owned & operated his Auto-body shop. In recent years, David had worked as a Blackjack Dealer at the Casino, and he absolutely loved the job. He worked until his retirement in 2008.
David loved to go out fishing for Trout and Blue Gills and was always out in his deer blind for opening day. He enjoyed listening to 50s and 60s Oldies music while working on projects in his free time. He was also a gifted artist and enjoyed painting sceneries, farms, and wildlife.
