Clarence Lougheed

Clarence Hugh Lougheed, age 80, of Sault Ste, Marie, MI went home to his Lord and Savior on Saturday, January 22, 2022, at his home.

Clarence was born on June 3,1941 in Sault Ste. Marie, MI to the late John W “Jack” and Beatrice (Hoath) Lougheed. He graduated from Sault High School with the class of 1959 and then continued his education at Michigan College of Mining and Technology in Houghton, MI earning a bachelor’s degree in 1963. On November 27, 1965, Clarence married Ann Brown in Sault Ste. Marie, MI. He retired from the United States Army Corps of Engineers. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Above all, Clarence loved his family and his God.

Clarence is survived by his wife: Ann Lougheed; three children: Wendee (Jim) Hagerman of Interlochen, MI, Christy (Gary) Curtis of Sault Ste. Marie, MI, and Aaron (Cara) Lougheed of Romeo, MI; eight grandchildren: Matthew, Todd, Jacob, Alyssa, Dillon, Amber, AJ, and Aiden.

A memorial service will be held at 12:00 noon on Friday, January 28, 2022, at C.S. Mulder Funeral Home with Pastor Dave Pearce officiating. Friends may gather at the funeral home that same day starting at 10:00 AM. Interment will be at Kinross Lakeview Cemetery later this spring.
