Mason “Sam” Samuel Bailey IV

Mason “Sam” Samuel Bailey IV, age 55, of Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan died on December 11, 2021 at his home in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan. He was born on April 13, 1966 in Titusville, Florida to Elsi Baccari and Mason Bailey.
Sam was a lifelong resident of Sault Ste. Marie and he graduated from Sault High in 1984, where he played on the school’s varsity ice hockey team. Sam was an avid golfer for his entire life, and although he achieved local success on the course as an individual, Sam’s favorite events of the year were the 3-man scramble tournaments that he would compete in with his brothers, Kevin, and Richie, and later with his two sons, Mason, and Trevor. Anyone who knew Sam knows that his proudest accomplishments were his two boys, and nothing brought him more joy in this world than watching them achieve their dreams.

Sam is survived by his wife, Tracy Bailey; sons, Mason Samuel Bailey V, Esq. and Trevor Charles Bailey; mother, Dr. Elsi Baccari; brothers, Kevin (Lisa) Bailey, Richard (Samantha) Dalimonte, and Lance (Kim) Bailey; mother-in-law, Linda Kublin; and nephews and nieces, Sean Bailey, Dr. Lindsey Bailey, Dennis Ross, Corine Nowak, Cody Mayer, and Richie, Frankie, and Henry Dalimonte. Sam also leaves behind countless lifelong friends in Sault Ste. Marie and beyond.

Sam is predeceased by his father, Mason Samuel Bailey III.
