Barbara Jean (Stevens) Collins, age 90, of Saul Ste. Marie, Michigan, died on December 7, 2021, at McKinley Manor in Sault Ste. Marie. She was born on October 4, 1931 in Howell, Michigan to parents Leslie and Winifred (Cooley) Stevens.
Barbara obtained her bachelor’s degree and went on to teach in public education until her retirement.
Barbara is survived by her sisters, Beverly Burton of Salem, Oregon and Mary Langham of Mason, Michigan, and her brother, Gale Stevens of Oak Island, North Carolina.
Barbara is preceded in death by her parents, Leslie and Winifred; and her late husband, Richard Collins.
