Frances H Talentino

Frances H. Talentino, age 90, of Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan passed away on Sunday, May 30, 2021, at her home.

Frances was born on February 2, 1931, at home in Stalwart, Michigan.  She was the daughter of the late George and Grace (Crawford) Hewitt.  On December 4, 1948, Frances married Francis G. Talentino in St. Ignace, Michigan.  As a young lady, she played softball.  She bowled every Thursday in the Women’s Coffee Clutch League.  Frances was a considerate, caring person who loved unconditionally.  She was a humble person who adored children.  Kids were her life.  She was a member of St. Isaac Jogues Catholic Church.

Frances is survived by her husband: Frank Talentino; five children: Howard (Teri) Talentino of Brimley, MI, Linda (Tim) Hoath, Terry (Denise) Talentino both of Sault Ste. Marie, MI, Debi (Mike) Sherman of Dayton, OH, and Troy (Chrissy) Talentino of Kalkaska, MI; 12 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren with one more on the way.

Frances was preceded in death by her parents, four grandchildren: Scott Randall Brazil, Amanda Kaye Talentino, Tina Marie Talentino, and Christopher Stephen Talentino; a brother: Robert Hewitt; and four sisters: Kathryn Drake, Edna Hanover, Evelyn Quick, and Virgilla Brannon.A visitation for family will begin at 10:30 AM and for friends at 11:00 AM followed by a memorial mass at 12:00 noon on June 4, 2021, at St. Isaac Jogues Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be left to Hospice of the EUP.
