Central Savings Bank to Host 10th WMH Road to Recovery Burger Bash

Central Savings Bank is excited to host the 10th Annual WMH Road to Recovery Burger Bash on Wednesday, June 16 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. under the CSB canopy at 511 Bingham Avenue in Sault Ste. Marie. The cost for the dinner is by donation. All the proceeds from the event and T-shirt sales will go to the WMH Road to Recovery program, which is funded entirely by donations. T-shirts are being sold at CSB’s main office and Spur branch for $10.00 and $15.00. A limited number of T-shirts will be available at the Burger Bash.

WMH Road to Recovery is a non-profit program that provides free transportation for cancer patients from the EUP to Petoskey for radiation treatments. The vans run five days per week, year-round, and rides are provided at no cost to the patients. In nine years, the Burger Bash has raised over $56,000 for the WMH Road to Recovery program. WMH Road to Recovery has helped 510 community members since 2009. In 2020 the program transported 34 patients and was able to continue running throughout the pandemic.

Central Savings Bank is proud to be able to provide the community with the opportunity to donate to such a great cause that affects so many of us. If anyone is unable to attend, Central Savings Bank will accept donations before and after the event.
