June Almira Edgley, age 71, of St. Ignace, Michigan, died at home on Thursday, June 18, 2020. June was born in Punta Gorda, Florida on November 7, 1948, to Joseph Ray and Nellie Ruth (Smith) Wilde.
June owned the Silver Sands Resort on West US 2 for 29 years, recently selling it to her granddaughter to continue the tradition. She married James Edgley on September 15, 1993, and they were married until he died on July 4, 2013. They enjoyed riding their motorcycle to Florida and their trip to Sturgis in 2008. They also enjoyed riding snowmobiles in winter.
June is survived by her son, John and Frieda Wilk of Punta Gorda, Florida; granddaughter, Aerka and Zachary Saint John of St. Ignace; grandchildren, Amber Kirkpatrick, Austin Christopher, Crystal Wilk, Johnathan Wilk, Justin Wilk, Jarrett Wilk, Ashley Scoles, James Ryals, and David Ryals; and several great grandchildren.
No public services are planned.
