Obituary For Scott Allen Moulton
Scott Allen Moulton, age 62, of Eckerman, Michigan, passed unexpectedly on Saturday, February 28, 2026. He was born on May 24, 1963, in Pontiac, Michigan, to William Willard and Delores Rose (Jacobs) Moulton.
Scott grew up in Highland, Michigan, and graduated from Milford High School. After graduation, he held multiple jobs including working for Spartan Grocery and Cars & Concepts. He met Sherry Lee Donaldson through her sister in 1989 and the two were married on December 30, 1991. Scott later joined Ford Motor Company, where he built a long and successful career. He and Sherry settled in Fenton, Michigan, where they built their home and raised their family. After many years of dedicated service, Scott retired from Ford in 2019 as a supervisor. Retirement marked the beginning of a new chapter, as Scott and Sherry sold their home and moved to the Upper Peninsula, making their beloved cabin their permanent residence and embracing the peace and natural beauty of the area.
As a man who loved motors, speed, and the weather, Scott’s biggest joy was snowmobiling, followed by speed boating and motocross. He also had a deep appreciation for classic cars, spending time restoring them, and attending car shows. He was a competitive game player with a passion for spades and dice with friends and family. Those who knew Scott will remember that he almost always had a Mountain Dew in hand and was capable of fixing almost anything.
Scott is survived by his wife, Sherry; daughter, Autumn (John) Klinar of Hartland, Michigan; granddaughter, Avery Klinar; mother, Delores; and brothers, Daniel (Wendy) Moulton of Holly, Michigan, Bill (Vicki) Moulton of Otisville, Michigan, Todd (Tammy) Moulton of Fowlerville, Michigan; and many nieces and nephews.
Scott was preceded in death by his father, William.
Per Scott’s wishes, a formal service will not be held. A Celebration of Life will be scheduled at a later date.
