Pamela Jean Ellis, age 60, of Kinross, Michigan, made her final journey to the Lord, on Monday, September 23, 2024, surrounded by her family, following a short illness. She was born in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan, on November 5, 1963, to Melbourne “Jim” and Brenda (Martineau) Parks.

Pamela graduated from Rudyard High School and Lake Superior State College. She worked for the Michigan Department of Corrections for over thirty-five years. She was known for her quiet demeanor, remarkable ability to listen, and had a kind and giving soul.

Pamela is survived by her husband, John; son, Stephen of Kinross, Michigan; sisters, Cathy Parks of Kinross, Brenda (Steve) Laux of Chassell, Michigan, and Lisa (Joe) Parks of Sault Ste. Marie; brother, Sam (Kelly) Parks of Dafter, Michigan; and numerous nieces, nephew, aunts, and cousins; she also leaves behind many four-legged friends, who brought her great joy.

A private graveside service will be held, per family wishes.
