Beverly Jean (Hudson) Dalgleish, age 84, of Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan, died on October 12, 2026, at Hospice of the EUP in Sault Ste. Marie. She was born on November 28, 1941, in Sault Ste. Marie, to Henry and Mildred (Burden) Hudson.

Beverly grew up in Sault Ste. Marie and graduated from Sault High School. Throughout her life, she managed the Iroquois Motel, worked in retail sales at Askwith Gifts, Gillhooley’s Pharmacy and Woolworth’s department store as she devoted herself to caring for her family.

Beverly was a proud member of the Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians and was a longtime member of the Sweet Adeline’s Chorus.

Beverly enjoyed working on puzzles and watching freighters pass by, a pastime she loved so much that she could name every one of them. She had a special place in her heart for animals, especially for her cats. She also enjoyed cross-country skiing and snowshoeing, but some of her fondest memories were made at the hunting cabin, where she spent time with her husband, Andrew.

Beverly is survived by her children, Sherri (Jim) Trevarrow of Centerton, Arkansas, Christine McCoy (Charles Moore) of Brimley, Michigan, Lisa (Ed) Jenerou of Kincheloe, Michigan; grandchildren, Doug Batho, Ashley Trevarrow, Nicole Trevarrow, Tara Hetrick, Christopher Gardner, Jolyssa Welter and Jace Jenerou; twelve great-grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren; niece, Marge Thompson; and nephew, Mark Preston.

Beverly was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Dalgleish; son, Francis McKerchie; parents, Henry Hudson and Mildred (Bill) McKerchie; beloved stepfather, William “Bill” McKerchie; and sister, Roberta Preston.

Per Beverly’s wishes, no services are being held.
