Missing Person

MISSAUKEE COUNTY, MI: On August 19, 2025, at approximately 12:45 p.m., troopers from the
Michigan State Police (MSP) Cadillac Post began investigating a missing person from Merritt.

The preliminary investigation indicates that Ryan Snyder, 33, of Merritt, was last seen walking east from
his residence on Gillow Road near Beauthiem Road on August 17 at approximately 6:00 p.m.

Snyder is approximately 6’1” and 200 pounds, with shaggy brown hair and brown eyes. Snyder also has a
closely trimmed beard. He was last seen wearing a black Under Armor sweatshirt, blue jeans, and black
tennis shoes.
