NEWBERRY, Mich. – The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) is investing about $2.1 million to resurface about 12 miles of M-67 from US-41 to M-94 in Alger County. Work includes paver-placed surface seal, asphalt cold milling, crack sealing, culvert replacement, tree removal, guardrail improvements, sidewalk ramps, aggregate shoulders, rumble strips and pavement markings.
Drivers should expect one lane of alternating traffic via traffic regulators and temporary signals.
Expected end date for the project is Friday, Oct. 30, 2026
