Steven Milo Welch

Steven Milo Welch, age 61, of Sault Ste. Marie MI passed away on January 26, 2022.

Steve was born on October 18, 1960, in Sault Ste. Marie, MI the son of Donald and Edith (Tillman) Welch.  He graduated from Sault High with the class of 1978 and continued his education at LSSU. On April 2, 1994, he married Cindy Shaw at Calvary Baptist Church.  Steve was the owner and captain at the Original Soo Locks Boat Tours.  He enjoyed fishing, working on bulldozers and tractors, and doing maintenance work at his business.  He loved sharing the love of Jesus with others.  

Steve is survived by his wife: Cindy Welch; his mother: Edith “Dee” Welch of Sault Ste. Marie; his brother: Donald (Ruth) Welch of Hope Sound, FL; and four nieces.

Steve was preceded in death by his father: Donald Welch; and his sister: Lynn Adams.

Funeral services will be private.  Burial will be at Pine Grove Cemetery later this spring.
