Kenneth L. Stauffer, 82, of Sault Ste. Marie, MI left this world Sunday January 16, 2022 in Sault Ste. Marie, MI in search of better fishing. He was born November 27, 1939 in Detroit, MI to Leslie and Iris (Bullock) Stauffer.
Ken loved a good story almost as much as hauling in a good fish. Nobody could tell a joke with a straight face as well as Ken. Life as a resort owner on a beautiful lake was ideal for him.
Ken is survived by his wife of 63 years, Sharon and daughter, Renee Dreiling. He leaves them both with a million great memories and a wish for just one more fish fry with Ken as head cook. He leaves his daughter with a rich legacy of a love for books, music, nature, and laughing at human foibles.
