Janice Lynn Payment

Janice Lynn Payment, age 59, of Kincheloe, Michigan, passed away on Monday, December 13, 2021, at War Memorial Hospital.

Janice was born on January 27, 1962, in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan to the late Earl and Frances (Miron) Wilkins. On July 3, 1991, she married James D. Payment in Sault Ste. Marie, MI. Janice enjoyed finding new recipes for cooking and baking. She also enjoyed crafts and her Dachshunds. Her biggest enjoyment were her kids and grandkids, and having her family over for big dinners.

Janice is survived by her husband: James Payment; her children: William (Genifer) White of Grand Rapids, and Nicole (Joseph Rochefort) White, Steven Payment, Jerry Payment, Paul Payment, and Tamara (Brandon Lewis) all of Kincheloe; a step-daughter: Jamie (Joe Socia) Payment of Pickford, MI; and nine grandchildren: Ben, Landon, Ethan, Cole, Brandon, Brayden, Joseph, Quinn, and Annie. Janice is also survived by her siblings: Violet Buck of NC, Earl Wilkins of Lansing, Ann (Jose) Martinez of CO, Linda (Larry) Batho of Detroit, Allen (Joy) Wilkins of Petoskey, and William (Helen) Wilkins of Kincheloe.

Janice was preceded in death by her parents, a brother: Richard Wilkins; a brother-in-law: Paul Buck; and a sister-in-law: Holly Wilkins.

According to Janice’s wishes, no public services will be held.
