As we enter February, there are some questions that have been answered regarding high school and college sports in the state of Michigan, but many remain, and we will get some answers from the people involved in the decision making, on tonight’s edition of “The Game” on ESPN 1400.

Kris Dunbar, Commissioner of the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, will join us at 6:00 p.m., to talk about the GLIAC’s return to play for winter sports, resuming the fall sports later this month, and what is ahead for spring sports in the conference.

Steve Lockwood, Athletic Director for Sault Area Schools will join us at 6:15, to discuss what is going on with the Blue Devil’s program, as the swimming and diving team has already had competitions, while the contact sports of basketball, hockey, and wrestling are able to practice, but await their fate on if and when they will resume play.

David McCaig Jr, host of “The Game Sports Show” in Soo, Ontario will also join the show, as he will give an update on the NOJHL, OHL and also talk about the NHL.

Mark Uyl, Executive Director of the Michigan High School Athletic Association will join the show at 6:45, along with co-host Butch Davis from “Butch On Sports”, to discuss where the MHSAA is at with the continued pause in contact winter sports, the “Let Them Play” rally in Lansing this past weekend, and what the future might hold for the student athletes in winter and spring sports.

You can hear the show live on ESPN 1400 every Monday night from 6:00-8:00 p.m. We also podcast the show at thegamesportsshow.podbean.com, where you can hear tonight’s show and past editions of “The Game” and all our family of shows on GEM (The Game Entertainment and Media).
